In Person Meeting - May 2022

for new and returning members.

Tuesday, May 31st at 7pm | @ Catherine Rooney's in Wilmington

Tired of people getting into office without a majority of the votes? Is that really democracy? A simple upgrade to the ballot can fix that problem, assuring a majority winner.

RCV is happening across the country and we want Delaware to be part of the moment. It's an anti-corruption no-brainer! Let's discuss what we've been up to and how we’re going to propel this movement to victory.

This is a NONPARTISAN effort. We do not take sides, and welcome community members from all parties. If this is your first event, we can't wait to meet you. Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of Delaware's history in paving a way for a stronger democracy!

In this virtual event learn more about Ranked Choice Voting and how a simple change to the ballot can give your vote the most power. Join us for a quick briefing about how to get connected and help pave the way for the future of Delaware politics.

What to expect

First, we can't wait to interact with people in person again!

For our regular volunteers, we'll be holding a work session to share ideas about simple but effective ways to take action.  You can have a presence at your local district meetings for the city of Wilmington or the state of Delaware.  Meetings are typically one hour, once a month. Your presence at these meetings can have a huge impact on normalizing RCV and pushing to implement it in various capacities. We need people from across the city and across the state so every district is represented.

For newcomers, we'll have a separate breakout for you while we feature our normal presentation to teach people about RCV and get them up to speed on what Rank The Vote Delaware has been doing to bring RCV to our state.

We'll have some appetizers and pitchers of beer.

When: Tuesday, May 31st at 7pm Eastern Time (US and Canada)
